Passports
As a convenience for our residents that travel the Town Clerk’s Department has been processing Passport Applications since 2003. As outlined below, new requirements for travel under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of Passport Applications being processed at the Town Hall. In order to provide the best possible service to the residents of Henrietta, the Town Clerk’s Department has a private room for the processing of Passport Applications, which will help to safeguard personal and confidential information for all applicants. In addition to the construction of the private room, all clerks within the Town Clerk’s Department have been trained to become Passport Acceptance Agents. Due to the high volume of passports being processed, please call the Town Hall at (585) 334-7700 to schedule an appointment. Passport appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM. To help us serve you as quickly and efficiently as possible, please be sure to fill out all paperwork prior to your appointment.
For your added convenience, the Town has purchased Passport Photo equipment. Passport photos are now available, and upon request, will be taken during the Passport Application process. Please have your application(s) completed prior to scheduling an appointment.

If the customer, who applied using Routine Service, is traveling within the next 10 days and has not received the passport, they should call the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 or email via http://www.travel.state.gov
If Expedite Services and two-way overnight delivery were requested and paid: Normally it takes 2 to 3 weeks from the application date to receive the passport. Now, it is taking 3-4 weeks and possibly longer if it was a renewal by mail and "Expedite" was not marked on the mailing envelope.
