Marriage Licenses are issued Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.  Please note that the wait time may be a little longer during the lunch hour.  The current Marriage License fee is $40.00 – payable by cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, or personal check (drawn on a local bank). Please allow approximately twenty (20) minutes for the licensing process.

Where applicable, a certified copy of the Final Divorce Decree or original Death Certificate must be provided for ALL previous marriages.

It is important for applicants to be prepared to indicate their choice of Surname (last name) when applying for a Marriage License.

Marriage Licenses must be obtained at least 24 hours before the ceremony. The license is valid for sixty (60) days. If either applicant is 16 or 17 years of age, he or she must present written consent of both parents.
