  • Henrietta Dog Park Registration

    Henrietta’s Dog Park at Lookup Park has been a hit with many of our furry friends!  We are now accepting new and renewal Applications for the Dog Park Permits at the Town Clerk’s office located at 475 Calkins Road.  A valid dog license is required to register for the Dog Park.  If your dog(s) are not licensed, you can also take care of this at the Town Hall at the same time, if you are a Henrietta resident; written proof of rabies vaccination is required. 

    *Registration at the Henrietta Dog Park entitles you to enjoy all Monroe County dog parks.  Please see www.monroecounty.gov/parks for all dog park rules, protocol, and locations.

     
  • 2015 Henrietta Youth Hall of Fame

    The Henrietta Youth Board will continue a tradition begun in 1976 by recognizing 26 young people’s accomplishments at the 2015 Henrietta Youth Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony. The Youth Board presents these awards to honor RH seniors who have made significant contributions to their school, church, or community by volunteering their time to help others or overcoming significant personal challenges.

    Nomination forms are available at the Town Hall and Senior High School. We will be accepting completed forms through January 16th.

  • 2015 Cabin Reservation Info

    Registration for 2015 use of the cabins and pavilions will begin for Henrietta Residents only on Monday, December 1st in the Main Meeting room at the Town Hall.  All Non-Residents can begin reserving the facilities Monday, January 5th.  2014 cabin rates will be used up until the end of December.  Effective January 2nd, 2015, fees will be increased to $100 for Henrietta Residents and $175 for Non-Residents.

    Payment must be made at the time of registration.  Payment methods include: cash, check, and credit/debit card.  ID will be required for Henrietta residents.  A drivers license or utility bill with name and address will be accepted as proof of residency.  Please note that if paying by credit/debit card you will be charged an additional 2.65% interest fee.

    Winter Registration begins:  December 10th for residents; December 17th for non-residents.
    Spring Registration begins: February 23rd for residents; March 2nd for non-residents.

  • 2014 Final Assessment Roll

    The 2014 Final Assessment Roll is now available. 

    This will be the basis for the property taxes levied by the Town of Henrietta, Monroe County, and the Rush-Henrietta Central School District. Also, special district charges for the Henrietta Fire Department and the Henrietta Volunteer Ambulance, among others, are based on the assessed value of each property in the town.

Winter Parking Ordinance

As winter approaches, The Town of Henrietta would like to remind you of necessary rules and regulations that provide for your safety and for the safety of the traveling public on main roads and neighborhood streets within the Town of Henrietta during the winter season.  We appreciate your cooperation.

The Henrietta Highway Department is responsible for snow and ice control on Town, County and State roads within the Town of Henrietta, with the exception of the NYS Thruway and I-390.  Our Department of Public Works is staffed twenty-four hours a day during the winter season and may be reached at 359-7005.  Our Highway Department follows the “Sensible Salting Guidelines” established by the County of Monroe, in conjunction with the Environmental Management Council. This requires us to use only enough salt to make our highways safe for motorists and requires motorists to reduce their driving speed according to road conditions.  Read More.....
